Joe Insel sent this to me this morning. Paul Rose was formerly the Director of Admissions at SUNY Morrisville. Let's all keep Paul in our thoughts and prayers!

I have spoken to Paul Rose, and he has been diagnosed with liver cancer
- stage two, and it has mastecized to his vertebrae. More tests are scheduled this week, including biopsies , MRI, and so forth. Paul has been advised by his minister to let everyone know of his situation. If you are inclined to contact him, I think he would welcome it. Perhaps you can share with SUNYCAP people..Paul seeks our prayers and support - not any sympathy - and welcomes any information relative to treatments he might have access to. What makes his illness even more cruel is that he has taken such great care of himself - all his life...
